CorelDraw is an image-editing application.

CorelDraw is the name of a graphic design software application and is also the name of Corel’s graphics suite, of which CorelDraw is a part. Corel is a software developing house that specializes in graphics and productivity software.

Current Version

The release current as of August 2010 is CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5, and it is the 15th version of the software that was first released in 1989. The amount of different file formats CorelDRAW can work with has been extended to over 60 in this edition, with various Adobe file types being added to its capabilities. The Export for Web command has been enhanced, as has the process for starting a new file, which guide users through a setup process rather than with a default blank page. Color management has also been improved, with industry standards being employed to create a profile-based color management system so that onscreen colors can accurately represent finished colors in a variety of outputs.
