The Intel GMA 950 allows your computer to process high-definition video in high resolution without a seperate card.
The Intel 950 GMA, or graphics media accelerator, is an on-board graphics processor that seeks to provide high-performance graphics capabilities without the need for a separate card. This product is built into the chipset on your motherboard, so the hardware itself cannot be removed. If your operating system is no longer recognizing it, you might have uninstalled its software components. This can be fixed using the Windows device manager.
1. Click “Start” from your Windows desktop and select “Control Panel.”
2. Click “Hardware and Sound.” Click “Device Manager.”
3. Click “Action” from the menu at the top of the window. Click “Scan for hardware changes.” Windows will now scan your configuration and detect any hardware that is not installed.
4. Allow Windows to automatically install the drivers needed to use the Intel 950 GMA. After the installation, it should show up in the list of installed hardware.
